The Life Sciences sector team of the Canadian Trade Commissioner Service in Mexico presents the 2023 Natural Health Products (NHP) Virtual Trade Mission to Mexico, February 13 to 17, 2023.

The objective of this initiative is to introduce Canadian companies with interesting and innovative natural health products including but not limited to supplements, vitamins and nutraceuticals to the Mexican market.

“There are growing opportunities for health products in the Mexican market,” says Meghan Horosko, senior trade development officer with the Alberta government. “Existing health challenges in Mexico, such as obesity and diabetes, as well as the global pandemic have increased consumer demand for products that bolster personal health. This virtual trade mission is a great opportunity for Alberta companies in this sector to explore the market.”

Led by the Canadian Trade Commissioner Service in Mexico City, the 2023 NHP Virtual Trade Mission to Mexico will offer participants 4 to 6 pre-arranged business-to-business (B2B) meetings with Mexican buyers from a wide range of retailers and specialized natural health buyers and distributors.

The program will also include market preparation, such as a “Doing Business in Mexico” webinar available to participants, to help prepare in advance of the mission.

Participants will also have the opportunity to be showcased in a directory made accessible to the Mexican buyers and distributors, showcasing Canadian suppliers in the natural health products sector.

The application deadline is November 28, 2022.
