Ag-Info Centre resource agents and specialists are available to answer your inquiries or refer you to the appropriate resource.

Resource Agents

Provide information on current Ministry programs and services and referrals to Ministry and Government of Alberta specialists and programs. Also serve as the registration desk for the majority of Ministry events and workshops.

Crop Specialists

Provide information on cropping plans, soil fertility, crop varieties, seeding practices, pest identification and control, harvest and storage management.

Beef and Forage Specialists

Provide support in nutrition and animal health, grazing and forage management, selection of forage species, feed quality, evaluation of forage stands, soil fertility, manure management, marketing and genetics.

Farm Management Specialists

Assist producers in making financial management decisions and developing strategic business management practices. They also provide information on custom rates, cost of production and farm labour.

Commercial Horticulture Specialists

Help commercial horticulture producers by answering questions about pest and disease identification and control, planting practices, varieties, irrigation fertility and harvest management.

Ag Education Consultant

Works with teachers, agriculture education organizations and stakeholders across the province, connecting them to resources to help integrate agriculture into the curriculum.
