Students who pass the required assessments and meet all prerequisites can be International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC) and Pro Board certified by the Alberta government. Certification is based on internationally recognized National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards.

Accessing your records
Moodle is the secure online system used by the Alberta Firefighter Certification Program to manage exam results and certification records. Through Moodle, you can view the status of your written exams and download your digital certificates.
Access to Moodle is provided through an Alberta.ca Account, the Alberta government’s secure login for online services. This account verifies your identity and ensures your certification records are correctly linked to you.
To access Moodle, visit Alberta Firefighter Certification Program and log in using your Alberta.ca Account credentials.
If you do not have an Alberta.ca Account, you can create one during the sign-in process by selecting Create an Alberta.ca Account and following the on-screen instructions. An account is required to access firefighter certification records in Moodle.

All certificates are issued online, where they can be downloaded and printed. Records of paper certificates issued prior to 2018 are on your student file.
