Qualified candidates who live and work in Alberta with a job offer from an Alberta tourism and hospitality employer can apply for nomination.

Introduction

The Tourism and Hospitality Stream is for temporary foreign workers who are already working full-time in Alberta in the tourism and hospitality sector and have a full-time job offer from a qualifying Alberta employer in an eligible occupation. Candidates must have a positive Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA). Candidates must also meet other minimum eligibility criteria for occupation, language, education, Alberta job offer and work experience.

Requirements for approved employer and occupation, employment, language and education requirements for eligible applicants.
After your nomination is accepted, you may apply for permanent residence or to extend your work permit or nomination.

Employer fees are illegal

Employers and employment agencies cannot charge employees fees for a job or employment offer. If an employer is charging you a fee of any kind we can help. Call the Alberta government information line at 310-0000 and ask for Employment Standards or the Temporary Foreign Worker Advisory Office.
