The Land and Property Rights Tribunal (LPRT) is hosting open houses in partnership with the following 3 organizations:

- Farmers’ Advocate Office
- Alberta Energy Regulator
Join us at our open house event to answer your surface rights questions.
Learn about Orphan Well Association activities in your area. Consult with the Farmer’s Advocate, meet your Alberta Energy Regulator representative and talk to your local weed inspectors.
The LPRT team is ready to:
- help you understand your rights
- explain how to apply for s.36 compensation (rental recovery) for unpaid surface lease payments
- provide you with information about rate reviews and claims for weeds on well sites and access roads
- answer any questions you may have
