- Specialized and Rural Municipalities and Their Communities – This document shows the towns, villages, summer villages, hamlets and Metis settlements that are located within each specialized and rural municipality.
- Communities within Specialized and Rural Municipalities – This document shows the specialized or rural municipality that is adjacent to a town, village, summer village, hamlet or Metis settlement.
- Services Commissions and Their Municipalities – This document shows the membership of regional services commissions in Alberta.
- Municipalities Within Services Commissions – This document shows which regional services commissions a municipality is a member of.
Municipal Codes are numeric identifiers that Municipal Affairs uses for all municipalities, regional services commission and other stakeholders for its information systems and datasets. Codes are updated following municipal restructuring and/or changes to other stakeholders. The document also contains the number of Alberta municipalities by type.
