Overview

Use this service to have a Notice of Appointment for Review document prepared, filed and served to your lawyer.

This service costs $100. When you use it, your lawyer’s fee or charge may be reduced, dismissed or allowed.

You only have 6 months to review your lawyer’s:

  • retainer agreement from the date it ends
  • fee after it was sent to you

We can’t review your:

  • estate lawyer’s charges when you’re the beneficiary of the estate
  • Legal Aid account
