Alberta’s goal is to be a hydrogen superpower and to make that vision a reality, we need to have the infrastructure in place to support its use.
Hydrogen stations could power hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicles especially heavy duty commercial vehicles, to help reduce carbon emissions.
An Expression of Interest (EOI) process took place to provide government with information about what conditions need to be in place for private industry to design, build, operate and own hydrogen fuelling stations. The deadline for submissions closed on March 10, 2023 with the guidelines posted below for reference.
