Overview
The online map tool provides current information on the boundaries for Alberta’s public and separate school divisions, Francophone education regions and historical school districts. It can be used to:
- find out which school division a student resides in
- see which school division someone can vote in during school board elections
- support school division transportation planning
- support the establishment of separate school districts
Using the map tool
Visit the online map tool to view and print school division maps.
- View maps by school division type (such as, public, separate, Francophone, historical school districts).
- Select the area you would like to print and save by preferred file format (PDF, GIF, JPG).

Boundary changes
School division boundaries are most often adjusted to:
- align school division boundaries with municipal boundary changes
- add area to a separate school division through the establishment process
The online map tool will be updated every year to reflect any changes.
