On May 5, she was recognized for helping to keep residents at 5 seniors lodges safe and for picking up groceries for them.
Location: Grande Prairie
It is essential to manage the flow of visitors into the Grande Spirit Foundation’s five seniors lodges during COVID-19. Wendy Doucet has been on the frontline, screening essential visitors for COVID-19 symptoms to ensure residents are kept safe.
As residents of the lodges are self-isolating for their safety, they are not able to run errands. Wendy has also stepped up to do grocery runs for isolating lodge residents. When she isn’t conducting visitor screenings or buying groceries for residents, she is doing her best to keep spirits high and entertain residents. Wendy’s commitment to the residents of the seniors lodges has kept them safe, connected, and happy during this trying time.
Honour the contributions of an amazing individual or group.
