Description: This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. The M.D. of Greenview has lifted the Evacuation Order for Greenview residents in the area of Sturgeon Lake Complex fire.

Residents can now return home. This Evacuation Order was in effect for everyone South of TWP RD 720, West of RR 223, North of TWP RD 712, West of RR 231, South of TWP RD 705A, and West of RR 230.

Affected areas (3):

• Sturgeon Lake 154
• Greenview No. 16
• Sturgeon Lake 154A

Action to take:

• Wildfires continue to burn throughout the M.D
• of Greenview
• Everyone returning home must remain prepared for a possible evacuation on short notice, if the situation deteriorates
• Check the Alberta Wildfire Status Map for the most up to date wildfire information
• Contact Greenview Emergency Social Services at 780-524-7603
