Description: This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. The MD of Greenview has updated a Wildfire Alert.
The Sturgeon Lake Fire Complex is currently burning West/North West of Valleyview. With worsening weather conditions, everyone in the affected area must evacuate immediately.
Area: This Evacuation Order has expanded. It is now in effect for everyone in the following area: Highway 49/RR 222 South to TWP RD 700, West to RR 240 and North to TWP RD 722 including Sturgeon Lake Cree Nation.

- Sturgeon Lake 154
- Valleyview
- Greenview No. 16
- Sturgeon Lake 154A
Action to take:
- If you are in the affected area, evacuate immediately
- Gather pets, important documents and medication, enough food, water and supplies for at least 3 days
- Evacuate to Grande Prairie
- A reception center has been established at the Bonnetts Energy Centre located at 10017 99 Ave in Grande Prairie
