Area: There is a mandatory Evacuation Order for everyone on Sturgeon Lake Cree Nation, as well as everyone north of the nation and south of Township Road 722, between Highway 49 and Range Road 242
Description: Wildfire Sturgeon Lake Complex is impacting residents in this area. All residents in this area remain under a mandatory evacuation.
Instruction: Everyone in this area should evacuate now. Bring pets, important documents, medication and food, water and supplies to be away from your home for 3 days. If you need help evacuating call 780-524-3345. Stay tuned to local media and follow the directions of local authorities. Community members of Sturgeon Lake Cree Nation should follow the direction of Chief and Council and their appointed emergency management team members.
