This service – known as Caseflow Conference – is for parents or guardians who are in the midst of a dispute.

It’s required if you’re:

  • a self-represented litigant – someone who doesn’t have a lawyer – in Calgary and Edmonton
  • applying for parenting, guardianship or contact access to a child

Otherwise, you can request this service in these two situations:

  • you have a lawyer
  • you’re applying for child support

After you and the other party reach an agreement in our meeting, we can prepare an order for:

  • child support
  • consent
  • contact
  • grandparent contact
  • guardianship
  • parenting

For more information, read the parenting after separation fact sheet.
