Approved post-secondary programs from other providers

Approved program choices for Alberta post-secondary students offered by other institutions.

Overview

Several post-secondary institutions based outside the province offer programs to Alberta students.

These institutions:

Other approved degrees

Alberta students can take their post-secondary education at a satellite campus of an out of province institution.

Participating institutions:

  • are headquartered outside Alberta
  • provide learning opportunities in Alberta
  • do not receive government funding
  • offer approved degree programs that meet specific quality criteria

Before you apply, confirm that the program you are taking is approved. If you take a program that is not approved, you may not be able to access student aid or other government supports.

The list of approved programs is maintained by the Campus Alberta Quality Council. Find approved degrees at other institutions.

Interprovincial agreements

Agreements with institutions in other provinces help Alberta students access program options that are otherwise not available.
