How to apply
Once a carrier is federally regulated, applicable federal legislation applies to all of their National Safety Code regulated vehicles and drivers, including those that never leave Alberta.
Your request for a change in operating status will be considered if you complete and submit:
Name change
Where a corporate name or surname has changed, the carrier is required to amend the name on their current Safety Fitness Certificate and / or Operating Authority Certificate.
Email and online correspondence
Access is provided by the existing Carrier/Public Profile service through a new Carrier Document Portal service. Not all documents will be available online as some will continue to be delivered by email with attachments and by mail.
