Overview
This pre-eligibility check provides a preliminary assessment of whether you meet the general eligibility requirements to apply for the 2027 Municipal Internship Program (MIP). To apply, you must meet the general eligibility requirements AND the specific criteria for your chosen stream(s) as outlined on the Become a municipal intern page.
If you are applying to 2 internship streams, please complete the eligibility check separately for each stream you are applying to.
The 2027 Municipal Internship Program is open to post-secondary graduates who have completed their program between January 1, 2025, and April 30, 2027. If your circumstances change, it is recommended you complete the pre-eligibility check again.
