Long Term Disability Income Continuance

This plan provides coverage to eligible employees who are unable to work as a result of injury, illness or disability.

Overview

The Long Term Disability Income Continuance (LTDI) Plan provides income replacement if you are unable to work because of an illness or injury. If you're a permanent employee that's eligible for government's group benefits package, you're automatically enrolled in the LTDI Plan the first day of the pay period after completing 3 consecutive months of service. Temporary employees are covered after one year of continuous service.
