Overview
Alberta companies, including those in the energy, cleantech, and digital innovation sectors, are invited to attend a roundtable in Calgary on Monday, June 10, 2024 with Kazakhstan government and industry delegates. The event will introduce business opportunities in Kazakhstan and Central Asia, as well as provide information on an upcoming trade mission to the region.
Speakers, topics and focus industries
His Excellency Dauletbek Kussainov, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Canada, will be joined by government and industry representatives from Kazakhstan to speak to bilateral relations between the two countries.
Speakers will discuss business opportunities for Alberta companies in Kazakhstan, as well as provide information on an upcoming trade mission to the region, focused on energy, cleantech and digital innovation business sectors.
There will also be matchmaking and networking activities for attendees with the Kazakhstan government and industry delegates following the seminar.
Trade mission
Alberta is planning a trade mission to Kazakhstan and Türkiye from September 24 to October 7, 2024.
The trade mission will include opportunity to take part in the 27th Kazakhstan International Oil and Gas Exhibition and Conference – the largest energy tradeshow in Central Asia. It will also provide networking and targeted B2B matchmaking activities, as well as site visits and market briefing sessions.
