Ministers Matt Jones and Adriana LaGrange issued a statement on Alberta’s health system, highlighting how it is managing seasonal pressures and patient care:

Alberta is introducing a dual practice health care model to increase options and shorten wait times while maintaining strong protection for publicly funded services.

Alberta’s Acute Care Action Plan will add over 1,000 new hospital beds, deliver 50,000 more surgeries, improve capacity and patient flow so Albertans can access care faster.
