Introduction

The Fisheries and Wildlife Management Information System (FWMIS) is Alberta’s central repository for fish and wildlife inventory data collected by government, educational institutions and museums, public and private sector representatives and the general public.

The data collected is used to support provincial wild species and habitat conservation efforts.
