Overview

The Edmonton Metro Region Economic Recovery Working Group was established in February 2022 to engage with Edmonton-area leaders, businesses and organizations and get their views on how government can support the recovery and growth of the metro Edmonton economy.

A thriving regional economy sends a signal that Alberta is economically strong and an attractive place to do business.

Mandate

The working group engaged stakeholders from across the region, assessed their recommendations, and developed suggested actions about how the government and industry leaders can support the recovery and growth of metro Edmonton’s economy.

These actions will focus on ensuring the metropolitan region remains one of the best places to invest, do business, raise a family and thrive.

Outcomes
