Overview
This summer, all Alberta government historic sites and museums are free or discounted for many Albertans and visitors to help more people access and enjoy the history and culture that our province has to offer. The Canada Strong Pass will make it easier for Albertans – especially youth and families – to explore Alberta and celebrate what makes this province a great place to live, work and play.

Alberta’s historic sites and museums participation in the Canada Strong Pass runs from July 4 to September 2, 2025. Visitors can take advantage of the Alberta discount as many times as they like until the end of the program.
There will be no refunds provided for visits outside of this time. Contact the historic site or museum for information on programming or how the Canada Strong Pass participation will be applied.
There will be no expiry date extensions on Experience Alberta’s History Annual Passes.
