Overview
The Bridges to Healthy Edmonton Regional Advisory Council engages with communities to identify health care priorities and advises Alberta’s government on ways to make health care better in the region.
The council is made up of community members who are passionate about health care. Members come from all walks of life including parents and family members who are familiar with the health system, doctors and health professionals, and leaders living in Edmonton.
The council region is within the city of Edmonton.
Role
The Government of Alberta created the regional advisory councils and tasked members with amplifying local voices and bringing forward local health priorities. The Bridges to Healthy Edmonton council's role is to explore solutions to health care issues and present recommendations to improve the health system. The council is not a decision-making body.

Survey purpose
The survey will enable Bridges to Healthy Edmonton Regional Advisory Council to gather local community input on access to mental health and addiction services and system navigation from Edmonton residents who are 18 years or older.
The council will use the information collected through this survey to:
- Identify issues that may require further discussion or engagement
- Help determine council priorities for the coming year
- Inform council advice and recommendations
The survey is anonymous. Please do not enter any personal details about yourself in any open text response boxes. Demographic information about community is only to confirm you reside in the council region. This survey will take about 2-3 minutes to complete.
