As part of the annual release of our province’s most popular baby names, the Government of Alberta is asking Alberta parents whose children were born in Alberta during 2020 to submit photographs of their babies to Service Alberta’s Vital Statistics Branch. The government intends to use the baby photos in a visual presentation during a media event to announce the most popular baby names of 2020 (the “news conference”).

How to submit

Photos may be submitted through government social media channels and conversations (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram) from May 28 until noon on June 25, 2021.
