Overview

Use this form to submit a location that government may consider for potential future all-season resort opportunities.

Nominations help government identify areas that may warrant further study for future tourism and recreation opportunities.

The nomination process is intended to collect both:

  • public nominations identifying recreation and tourism opportunities, and
  • more advanced concepts from municipalities, Indigenous communities and organizations, tourism organizations, investors, developers, and other proponents.

Submitting a nomination:

  • does not provide development rights or approvals
  • does not reserve land for future development
  • does not guarantee designation as an all-season resort area
  • does not guarantee future investment or development
  • does not replace future regulatory, environmental, land-use planning, Indigenous consultation, disposition, or approval processes

Government may review submissions to identify areas that could warrant future consideration under the All-Season Resorts Act.
