The Foot Friday Crew has faithfully volunteered its time and expertise to provide professional foot care to seniors, individuals experiencing homelessness and people with disabilities in Lethbridge. Every Friday night at the Streets Alive Mission, it offers respectful and compassionate care, builds meaningful connections and helps to restore dignity to those it serves.
Most weeks, 10 to 20 people benefit from the free foot care services, and the efforts of this team have even reduced emergency department visits for foot care!
For its selfless efforts to care for their vulnerable neighbours and its steadfast dedication to their community, the Foot Friday Crew have earned the honour of Northern Lights Volunteer Recognition.
