When Edmontonians are in need, husband and wife team Deny and Jen Brown can be counted on to step up to help. You can bank on it – food bank on it, that is.

Since 2015, this compassionate couple have been regular volunteers with the Edmonton Food Bank, supporting the organizations special events team. Deny and Jen’s volunteerism takes them into the community to promote the work of the food bank, collecting food and monetary donations at various community event cultural and recreational events.

From helping out during the annual "ETS Stuff a Bus" campaign to collected donated tickets at the city’s Heritage Day Festival, Deny and Jen are enthusiastic regulars at nearly every public event, driven by their desire to help end hunger in Edmonton.

For their inspiring community spirit, Deny and Jen Brown are worthy recipients of Northern Lights Volunteer Recognition.
