Area: This alert is in effect for Brazeau County and Drayton Valley.
Description: There is an out of control wildfire southeast of Drayton Valley. If you are in the area North of Township Road 482 and South of Highway 39, and West of Range Road 64 and East of the North Saskatchewan River, you must evacuate immediately. All residents south of Township Road 494 and north of Township Road 482, and west of the North Saskatchewan River and east of Range Road 80, must be prepared to evacuate within 30 minutes notice. This area includes all of the Town of Drayton Valley.
Instruction: There is a Reception Center at Drayton Valley Omniplex. If you need help evacuating, call 780-542-7777. Follow Drayton Valley and Brazeau County social media.
