The new Health System Dashboard is designed to provide Albertans with timely, easy‑to‑understand data on how the health care system is performing.
The dashboard currently highlights surgery volumes and wait times for both select surgeries and cancer surgeries, along with a map detailing which facilities perform surgeries and what types of surgeries are performed at each facility.
This tool will continue to grow, with metrics added for other areas of acute care, as well as for primary care, assisted living, and mental health and addiction, offering Albertans a comprehensive view of health system performance over time.
