Join us August 30 at Celebration Field for a day packed with family, fun entertainment. The Calgary, Alberta Day event is free, but you must register for tickets on the Heritage Park website.

Kyle McKearney is redefining Americana, blending soulful storytelling with gritty, roots‑driven soundscapes. One of Canada’s most compelling voices, his 2025 album 'To The River' has already earned 3 award wins from 13 nominations, following earlier honours including a Canadian Country Music Award for Alternative Country Album of the Year.

Main stage

  • ADEOLUWA

    ADEOLUWA is a Nigerian born, Afro fusion artist who is blending Afro pop, R&B, soul, rock, and experimental pop. Since his debut album 'After Bells and Whistles', he has built a strong reputation for energetic live shows. He has performed at the Grey Cup Festival, BreakOut West, and Cathedral Village Arts Festival, and headlined Calgary miniFEST in 2025, continuing to grow his presence across Canada.

  • Tryzub Ukrainian Dance Ensemble

    Founded in 1974, the Tryzub Ukrainian Dance Ensemble has been dazzling audiences with their energetic repertoire since then. Proud to call Calgary home, Tryzub continues to bring to life the beauty and colour of Ukrainian dance and folklore. Their ensemble of dancers range in age from 16 to 34 years.

  • Dempsey Bolton

    Dempsey Bolton is a Calgary-based singer-songwriter, producer, and performer whose music blends alternative pop, R&B, and soulful storytelling. A University of Alberta astrophysics graduate, he left academia to pursue music full time, developing a distinctive sound marked by emotional depth, memorable melodies, and polished production.

  • CC Dance Studio

    CC Dance Studio is a multiple award-winning Dance group who promote fun and positivity through their engaging style and energy. They're fun and passion for music and dance is infectious. Their talent has led them onto stages to perform with music superstars and becoming a Global sensation.

  • The Crickettes

    The Crickettes are a folk‑pop ukulele duo known for close harmonies, playful charm, and re‑imagined favourites alongside original songs. Since 2018, they’ve brought warm, upbeat performances to markets, festivals, and special events, creating inviting musical moments that connect audiences through joy and storytelling.

  • ShimaKaji

    Shima Kaji is a newly established drum dance group within the Calgary Okinawan Club. Their performances feature high-energy group choreography, rhythmic taiko drumming, and elements of Okinawan folk music. They perform Eisa, a traditional Okinawan art combining drumming, dance, and vocal calls, known for its dynamic and rhythmic movements.

  • Ollee Owens

    Far more than a vocal powerhouse, Ollee Owens live performances are an unforgettable, emotionally charged musical experience moving both body and soul. With the warmth of Mavis Staples, vocal intensity of Etta James and soulful delivery of Bonnie Raitt, Ollee draws on a wealth of experience, acknowledging the struggles of life while never losing sight of what truly matters.

  • Wild Mint Arts

    Wild Mint Arts is a Calgary-based Indigenous arts organization that creates meaningful cultural experiences through performances, workshops, and educational programming. Working with Indigenous artists from across Canada, the organization celebrates the diversity of Indigenous performing arts while fostering inclusion, learning, and reconciliation through engaging community, school, and festival presentations.

  • John Wort Hannam

    John Wort Hannam is a Fort McLeod-based singer‑songwriter known for heartfelt, story‑driven folk and roots music. With over two decades of touring, he has earned national recognition, including Canadian Folk Music Awards and a Juno nomination. His songs blend warmth, humour, and compassion, connecting deeply with audiences of all ages. John is currently Alberta’s Artists in Residence.

  • Souls in Rhythm

    Souls in Rhythm is a Calgary-based funk and soul powerhouse known for infectious grooves, dynamic performances, and a modern take on classic influences. Led by acclaimed musician Scott Henderson, the band has toured extensively across Canada, shared stages with major artists, and built a reputation for energetic, crowd-moving live shows.

    Side One is a premier live event band known for delivering unforgettable entertainment at weddings, corporate events, galas, and celebrations across North America.   • Matt Blais

    Roots-rock troubadour Matt Blais goes in search of authenticity, passionately advocating for connection. As a singer-songwriter, recording artist, and touring live performer, he has developed a purpose-driven creative life that inspires that connection in listeners. Performing meaningful songs with his signature belting vocals and harmonica work, Blais has built a full-time career with fans across Canada.

  • Evie Marsten

    15-year-old country and alternative country singer-songwriter Evie Marsten has been writing and performing original music since age nine. A multi-instrumentalist, she plays bass, guitar, banjo, ukulele, and mandolin. In 2025 she performed more than 30 times, including the Big Valley Jamboree Horizon Youth Stage.

  • Ella Eva West

    Ella Eva West blends traditional folk storytelling with country and bluegrass. After years in concert band and choir, she fell in love with folk music while working in the Yukon in 2025, where trailer jam sessions sparked her songwriting. Inspired by Sierra Ferrell, Joan Baez, and Dolly Parton, planned for 2026.

  • Justine Giles

    Justine Giles is a heartfelt americana singer and songwriter, adding messages of female empowerment and healing to her work. Now based in Calgary, Giles was awarded the Solo Artist of the Year at the 2024 YYC Music Awards. Additionally, she partnered with National Music Centre to create programs for young people, performing at various events in the city.

  • Jaiden Riley

    Jaiden Riley is a Métis singer/songwriter known for her soulful blend of country, indie folk, and bluegrass influences. She weaves original songs and covers, creating a heartfelt stage presence to captivate her audience. Riley is active in the local music scene, performing at venues like the Calgary Stampede and the King Eddy.

  • Rome IX

    Rome IX is an Indie-Soul artist whose work spans music, acting, and filmmaking. His songs combine deep lyrics with soulful arrangements and storytelling influenced by artists such as Jason Mraz, Miguel, and Stevie Wonder. A two-time YYC Music Awards nominee, Rome IX’s ten song debut album blends Indie-Soul, funk, and R&B energy.

  • Eden Taylor

    Eden Taylor is a Calgary-based singer-songwriter blending cinematic alt pop with country, blues, and jazz touches. A four-time Global Country Award winner and former performer with The Young Canadians, she played over 300 stages across North America, including festivals, clubs, and venues like the Southern Jubilee and Granville Island’s Waterfront Theatre.

  • Alice Jane

    Alice Jane grew up performing in the cafés and pubs of the northern beaches of Sydney, Australia. She now calls Calgary home, raising kids and playing gigs in cafés, bars and outdoor festivals throughout southern Alberta. Her sound blends the smooth qualities of Eva Cassidy and Kina Grannis with the raw originality of Patti Griffin and Joni Mitchell. When not playing solo, she makes up one half of Calgary folk duo Meadowsweet.
