A Mandatory Evacuation Order is in effect for the entire community of Fort Chipewyan. Anyone that has not been assigned a role in the response by local authorities needs to leave the community immediately. Air transport to Fort McMurray can be arranged by calling Pulse at 1-800-973-9663 or 780-743-7000 between 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Emergency Social Services will follow up with details on the next available flight to Fort McMurray. Residents evacuating by boat need to contact Pulse before leaving. All boats should travel to Barge Landing in Fort McKay.

• Transport to a registration centre will be provided if you informed Pulse before you leave
