Description: This is an Alberta Emergency Alert.
All evacuees should report to Archie Simpson Arena now to register as an evacuee and be assigned a flight. You do not need to wait for someone to knock on your door to be told to evacuate. Evacuate today. Once you arrive at Archie Simpson Arena you will receive a wristband and be assigned a flight. Residents evacuating by boat on the Athabasca River should then report to Big Dock before travelling south to Fort McKay or to your cabin.
Area: An evacuation order has been issued for Fort Chipewyan including the Mikisew Cree First Nation, Fort Chipewyan Metis Nation and Athabasca Chipewyan First Nation.

Action to take:
- An evacuation registration center will also be located in Fort McKay
- Bring important documents, medication, food, water and supplies for at least 7 days
- Take pets and crates with you
