Description: This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. MD of Greenview has issued a Wildfire Alert.
A wildfire is burning in the area south of Township Road 690, between Highway 40 and the BC Border. Everyone in this area must evacuate now. Everyone north of Township Road 690 to the Wapiti River should be prepared to evacuate on short notice.

- Greenview No. 16
Action to take:
- Pack clothes, food, water, important documents and medication for 3 days
- Bring your pets
- Evacuate to Grande Prairie
- A reception center has been established at the Bonnetts Energy Centre located at 10017 99 Ave in Grande Prairie.
