Description: Alberta Emergency Alert - Wildfire Alert Updated

The area of evacuation has expanded for this wildfire, and now everyone in the area of La Crete Ferry Campground east to Range Rd. 164, and north and south of Highway 697 must evacuate immediately. Everyone evacuating this area must travel east on Highway 697 and evacuate to La Crete where a reception center has been set up..

If you evacuate with your own vehicle, please report to the assigned Reception Centre. If you are physically unable to go to the Reception Centre, phone 780-928-4447 to make arrangements for pickup. If you are unable to attend a Reception Centre to Register, please register by contacting the Reception Centre at 780-928-4447 You will be advised when the emergency has ended and it is safe to return to your home. For additional information listen to local community radio broadcasts or follow Mackenzie County’s Facebook page. More information is also available at www.mackenziecounty.com and www.wildfire.alberta.ca for added wildfire information.
