Description: Alberta Emergency Alert - Wildfire Alert Updated

Update 5: The Town of High Level, the Dene Tha First Nation and areas of Mackenzie County remain under evacuation orders due to wildfire. Smoke from wildfires may make driving hazardous and some roads are closed.

The public can also call 310-4455 from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM for wildfire related information.

Action to take:

  • The public must remain out of all evacuated zones, as there are fire crews and fire vehicles operating in the region
  • Visibility will be poor in certain areas so caution must be used
  • The public should remain inside and limit their exposure to smoke
  • Follow this alert for more information on the situation in Mackenzie County, the Town of High Level and Dene Tha First Nation.
