Description: Severe thunderstorm warning in effect
At 5:33 p.m. MDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a very dangerous thunderstorm capable of producing damaging wind gusts, up to baseball size hail and heavy rain. This severe thunderstorm is located over Brooks and is moving to the east at 80 km/h.
Large hail will cause significant damage and injury. Severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes. Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
