Description: Severe thunderstorm warning in effect

At 5:34 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time Wednesday, Environment Canada has updated a severe thunderstorm warning for Southeastern and South Central Alberta. Extra care and attention should be exercised. The following localities are included in the warning: Medicine Hat, Bow Island, Suffield, Brooks, Strathmore and Vulcan. Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a very dangerous thunderstorm capable of producing damaging wind gusts, up to baseball size hail and heavy rain.

Action to take:

• Take cover immediately if threatening weather approaches
