Description: Severe thunderstorm warning in effect
At 4:23 p.m. MDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a dangerous thunderstorm capable of producing very strong wind gusts, up to golf ball size hail and heavy rain. This severe thunderstorm is located 10 km west of Milo and is moving to the northeast at 80 km/h.
Large hail will likely cause significant damage and injury. Severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes. Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
Area: Vulcan Co. near Arrowwood Herronton and Queenstown
