The 'Slims Creek Wildfire' 050 is moving eastward to highway 35. Wind and dry conditions are fueling the fire.

Area: The County of Northern Lights issues an Evacuation Alert for Residents in the Hawk Hills Area.

Affected areas (1):

• Northern Lights No. 22

Action to take:

• Residents of Hawk hills living East of highway 35, North of highway 692 and Township 952 to Twin Lakes Recreation Area must be vigilant and be prepared to leave the area on short notice
• Have your Go Bag with your medicines, documents, money, ready to go including pets and livestock if necessary
• Stay tuned to County website and facebook
• This is not an evacuation Order at this time
