Description: This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. The MD of Opportunity No. 17 has updated it's wildfire alert.

There is a wildfire threatening the Chip and Alpac road. The mandatory evacuation order for the community of Chipewyan Lake remains in effect. No unauthorized personnel are allowed to return to the community at this time.

Area: The Evacuation Order is still in effect for everyone in the community of Chipewyan Lake.

Affected areas (1):

• Opportunity No. 17

Action to take:

• Everyone in the community of Chipewyan Lake must remain evacuated
• There is no timeline for re-entry
• Everyone evacuated from the impacted area should go to the Lakeview Sports Center in Wabasca for registration and further instructions
