Description: This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. The MD of Opportunity has updated a Wildfire Alert and is issuing a mandatory evacuation order.

Everyone in Red Earth Creek must evacuate immediately.

Area: This alert is in effect for Red Earth Creek.

Affected areas (1):

• Opportunity No. 17

Action to take:

• Gather pets, medication, important documents and clothing and supplies for at least three days
• Evacuate to the Baytex Energy Center in Peace River, 9810 73 Avenue, for registration and instructions
• If you are not heading to Peace River, please call 780-624-3204 to register
• Busses will be available for those who do not have a ride to evacuate
• Call Micheal at 780-649-6503 if you require transportation
• Petro Pass will be open to accommodate the late notice
• There is another wildfire on km 68 on Highway 88 South within 5 km of the highway and the status could change at any moment
• You may experience smoky conditions on the Highway to Peace River
