Description: Severe thunderstorm warning in effect
At 5:20 p.m. MDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a very dangerous thunderstorm capable of producing strong wind gusts, baseball size or greater hail and heavy rain. This thunderstorm is located 5 km north of James River Bridge and is moving 35 km/h to the southeast.
This is a dangerous and potentially life-threatening situation. Extremely large hail can smash windows, destroy property and vehicles and cause life-threatening injury. Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are likely to produce or are producing one or more of the following: large hail, damaging winds, torrential rainfall.
Area: Clearwater Co. near Caroline and James River Bridge
