Description: Severe thunderstorm warning in effect
At 5:20 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time Monday, Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for South Central Alberta. Extra care and attention should be exercised in and around the following localities: Sundre, Olds, Didsbury, Rocky Mountain House and Caroline. Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a very dangerous thunderstorm capable of producing strong wind gusts, baseball size or greater hail and heavy rain.
Area: Clearwater Co. near Caroline and James River Bridge

- Clearwater County
- Burnstick Lake
- Caroline
- Mountain View County
- Sundre
Action to take:
- Take cover immediately if threatening weather approaches
- Intense lightning is likely and tornados are possible with any thunderstorm that develops
