Description: Tornado warning in effect

At 9:12 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time Friday, Environment Canada has issued a tornado warning for South Central and Red Deer, Ponoka, Innisfail, Stettler Alberta. Extra care and attention should be exercised in and around the following localities: Rocky Mountain House, Caroline, Eckville and Lacombe. Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm that is possibly producing a tornado. Damaging winds, large hail and locally intense rainfall are also possible.

Area: Clearwater Co. near Rocky Mtn House and Crimson Lake

• Clearwater County
• Rocky Mountain House
• Lacombe County
• Eckville
• Half Moon Bay
• Sunbreaker Cove
