Description: This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. Woodlands County has issued a Wildfire Alert for a southern portion of Woodlands County.

There is a wildfire south of Township Road 570, west of Eastbank Road, and west of the McLeod River. Residents in the area must be prepared to evacuate within 4 hours of notification.

Affected areas (2):

• Yellowhead County
• Woodlands County

Action to take:

• Everyone in the affected area must prepare for a possible evacuation
• Gather pets, important documents and medication, enough food, water and supplies for at least 3 days
• This alert will be updated if an evacuation is required
• Stay tuned to www.alberta.ca/emergencyalert, local media for updates.
