The mandatory evacuation ORDER has been downgraded to an alert as there still is an active wildfire. All residents in the impacted area of Whitefish River and Atikameg must be prepared to evacuate on 1-hr notice. Please be cautious while driving home as crews are still working along highway 88.

Action to take:

• Please have your 72 hour Emergency Kit ready
• Please be cautious when returning home as power was off for an extended period of time
• Please follow directions of authorities and watch for updates and Re-entry communication on community and regional social media.
