There is currently a wildfire east of the communities and due to current weather conditions all residents must be prepared to evacuate on short notice.

Area: The affected areas are the communities of Whitefish River and Atikameg, Alberta

Affected areas (2):

• Utikoomak Lake 155
• Utikoomak Lake 155A

Action to take:

• Residents should be prepared to leave on an hours notice
• Please follow directions of authorities and watch for updates on community social media
