Description: This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. Strathcona County is lifting the evacuation order effective 1 p.m. today, May 6.

People affected by the evacuations may direct questions to the reception centre at 780-464-4044. It will close for walk-in traffic, but phone lines are open until 6 p.m. tonight. Fire crews remain on scene in this area, as well as at the fire near Hwy 21.

Action to take:

• A fire ban remains in place
• While it is safe to return home, the situation can change quickly
• Please remain on alert and report any fires to 911.
