Description: This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. Yellowhead County has updated the wildfire alert for areas around Wildwood, Lobstick and the Chip Lake area.

Fires in the area remain active and continue to threaten Wildwood, Lobstick and surrounding areas.

Area: This alert remains in effect for everyone in Wildwood, Lobstick and areas east and northeast of Chip Lake, and south of Highway 16, south of Wildwood.

Affected areas (1):

• Yellowhead County

Action to take:

• Everyone in the impacted area must remain evacuated, including everyone in Wildwood, Lobstick, and areas surrounding Chip Lake
• If you are unsure if you should evacuate, call 1-833-334-4630
• A reception centre has been setup at the Edson and District Leisure Centre, at 1021 49 Street in Edson
